~~Our School~~

Approximately 600 kindergarten through fourth grade students attend Evans City Elementary School. There are five or six classrooms for each grade level as well as various special education, art, music, physical education, library, technology, speech, hearing impaired, guidance, and instructional support facilities. Evans City Elementary is actually "a school within a school." In other words, we share our building with Evans City Middle School. This creates for wonderful learning opportunities, as we can share in many collaborative educational activities and projects with the middle school students and faculty.

~~Mission Statement~~

In collaboration with family and community, the mission of the Seneca Valley School District is to provide an academically rigorous learning experience in a progressive environment, emphasizing civic responsibility and global awareness.

Disclaimer These Seneca Valley pages are a tool used by the students and staff of Seneca Valley School District. They will always be under construction. These pages are written and produced by students and/or faculty as a learning experience in conjunction with their individual curriculum needs. These pages are projects in staff development classes and in other curriculum areas to teach students and staff how to produce a homepage and better understand the use of the internet as another tool in their learning experience. These pages are, as a result, not a finished product, nor a professional publication, but a step in the learning process towards better use of technology within the learning environment.

All photographs and names of students are published under School Board Policy 902 found on the District Home Page under School Board >> Policies.

~~Visitor Procedure~~

Access to Seneca Valley School District buildings are restricted to visitors during the school day. Those wishing to gain entrance are required to be given access by office personnel. Please note that video cameras tape activity at all school entrances and in various parts of the buildings.
All visitors are required to sign-in, providing a vehicle description, time of visit, and person/place they are visiting. Visitors will then be provided with a visitor badge that must be worn at all times while on school property.
Upon leaving the building, visitors are required to sign-out and leave the visitor badge with the office staff.
We thank you in advance for following these procedures for the safety of all students and staff.
