Welcome to the 2006-2007 Evans City All School Art Show

Every spring, we hold our annual art show.
This year's theme is



Earth, Sea, and Sky are the basics of our world. Classes were introduced to the Native American respect for Nature, and our need to protect our environment. Students recycled materials when they constructed their totem poles. The romance of the sea was a real motivator for the students to learn to use watercolor and clay in their pirate ships. Classes studied our world through the production of landscape paintings, drawings, and detailed studies of nature. Students learned about art from other countries and artists, as well as a respect for the world around us. They also dreamed and imagined the world in past times. Each student in first through sixth grade used a variety of materials to create art based on the theme, Earth, Sea, and Sky.
