Seneca Valley Middle School Where Teaming Makes a Difference
Seneca Valley Middle School is located 35 miles north of the city of Pittsburgh. It is comprised of seventh and eighth grade students with a total enrollment of approximately 1200. Students are divided into ten academic teams, creating the concept of a “school within a school”. In addition to the school’s rich curriculum and commitment to academic rigor, the school encourages civic leadership and duty. All ten teams participate in several community service projects throughout the year. One hundred highly qualified teachers deliver a broad based curriculum covering all academic areas. Beyond the core curriculum, the school also provides students with a wide range of exploratory classes including: fine arts, world languages, family consumer sciences and industrial technology.
