The Seneca Valley Middle School Library Club is a service organization. Members assist their fellow students and teachers through volunteering time to work for the good of the library. The goal of the club is to help keep the library running smoothly and to make it a pleasant place to be. In addition, at each meeting, members make a small craft which is then donated to the Zelienople Meals on Wheels. The duties and activities of the club are many and varied, so each student can find his or her own way of serving.
The library club meets on the second Tuesday of the month. The agenda varies, but there is always a business meeting, a snack, a craft for Meals on Wheels, and a drawing for a prize.

The Middle School Play is an extracurricular opportunity for students in grades seven and eight to participate in all aspects of a full-scale theater production. Students can perform as actors and actresses, build and design sets, run stage crew, control lighting and sound, play in the band for musical productions, design props and costumes, sell tickets, usher, and serve as stage managers. All rehearsals are after school and are generally held three to four times a week for six to eight weeks preceding the performances. Students intending to audition should be aware that participation in an after-school sport might coincide with rehearsals and prevent their participation in the play. Listen to the school announcements for audition dates. For more information about this year's production, please see Ms. Mitnick in room 106.
The middle school art club is made up of both seventh and eighth grade students who have an interest in the visual arts. The club will meet at least once a month- often times twice a month. Art club members will be given a new project option at each meeting, as well as the option of canvas painting, which is always available to them. The students will have a brief fundraiser in the fall to cover art materials and the cost of the art club field trip, which takes place in the spring and is decided on by popular vote.
To become a member of the middle school art club, seventh graders will have a chance to sign up at the activity fair which is held in September, or on a sign-up sheet posted outside of the art room. Eighth graders must use this sign-up sheet due to the fact that the activity fair is for seventh graders only. Please know that SIGNING-UP DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SPOT. Due to the overwhelming number of students interested in joining art club, NAMES MUST BE PULLED FROM A HAT TO DETERMINE WHO GETS A SPOT. Those pulled will be contacted and a list of alternates will be kept. The maximum number of art club students is 30.
