A tutoring program is available free to all middle school students. This program begins approximately five weeks into the school year. The entire purpose of this program is to assist students with their school work. Some students may need to spend two or three weeks to catch up with their work or they may need to spend more time in the program.

To begin the program, a student needs to fill out a registration form. The registration forms are found in the guidance office and once they are completed they need to be returned to the guidance office. The tutoring sessions are held Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:25. There is a 4:30 activity bus for students that attend tutoring. High school students serve as tutors under the supervision of a middle school teacher.

It is important to remember that tutoring is not for socializing and it is a privilege. Many students benefit from the tutoring program if they come prepared and accept the help provided.
