| As
a middle school student, we encourage increased responsibility and
organization for your own work and materials. In order to help you
successfully travel on your middle school journey, there are many
materials that will be needed and used throughout the school year.
We are providing this list to you now so that you can prepare for
the upcoming school year. |

These
materials will be needed at the beginning of the school year:
· One large three-ring binder (will be carried to all content
switches)
· One pocket folder for each subject (reading, writing, social
studies,
science, math, music, etc.) It’s always good to have a few
extras!
· Notebook paper (we have a limited supply in the classroom)
· 3 single subject notebooks
· Large box of Crayons
· Colored pencils
· Supply of markers
· Supply of pencils
· Highlighters
· Thin & thick black Sharpies
· Glue sticks or bottle of Elmer’s glue
· Pencil box or bag
· Four tennis balls with an ‘X’ cut to put on
chairs to eliminate noise. (These can be used tennis balls)
· Box of tissues

| If
possible, bring these supplies with you on the first day of school.
If you prefer to wait until the first week of school, you may also
do so. If you are unable to purchase these supplies, please contact
your son or daughter’s teacher or Mrs. Smith, our school guidance
counselor. |
