Scheduling
Each spring students have an opportunity to select courses appropriate to their needs and future plans. Evening program for 9th grade and 10th grade are held, a Program of Studies is provided, and small group and individual conferences are available to help students create their schedule.
Once the master schedule has been created in June, changes are not permitted without review by the change committee. Changes will only be considered for valid academic reasons. Therefore, it's important for students to carefully select courses that interest them and that meet graduation requirements.
Graduation Requirements
Students are reminded each year about graduation requirements. To graduate a student must gain 24 credits, pass the PSSA at a level of proficient or above, and complete a graduation project.

Summer School
Some students may not pass all of the required courses for graduation in a current school year. Summer school is available from mid June through early July at a cost of approximately $90 for each half credit course. Core courses such as math, English, science, and social studies are usually offered, but all classes are based on minimum enrollment.
Summer Enrichment Experience
For students wishing to extend their school year, there are also summer enrichment programs at local and national universities as well as organizations.
