My family consists of my husband and two boys, Evan who is 5 and Garrett who is 2. We also have a dog named Jasmine and a kitten named Zoe. At least the pets are female too!
I graduated from Seton Hill College with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a chemistry teaching certificate. I finished my master's of education in technologies enhanced learning in 2004 at Seton Hill as well. While I was in college, I worked as an intern at the Carnegie Science Center. It was a great place to work. I really recommend volunteering there if you ever have a chance or interest! I completed my student teaching at Hempfield High School. I then worked as a long-term substitute at North Allegheny Intermediate and as a day-to-day substitute in the Pine-Richland, Mars, and South Butler School Districts. My first full-time teaching position was at Norwin High School in North Huntingdon, PA. I taught chemistry, physical science, and applied science and technology. I worked there for five years before coming to Seneca Valley. This is my fourth year at SV, and I love it!
